We don't build for volume. We build to last.
Absolute Building & Construction — 18 years of precision remodeling and construction across the DMV.
Built to close the gap.
In the DMV, the demand for quality is high. So is the distance between what contractors promise and what they actually deliver.
Absolute Building & Construction was founded to close that distance — not with better marketing, but with better execution. A scope that doesn’t move. A crew that shows up. A project lead who communicates. A finished product that matches exactly what was agreed at the start.
We serve homeowners across Potomac, Bethesda, and McLean who hold their properties to a high standard and have been let down by contractors who didn’t. We also serve commercial clients — medical practices, business owners, property managers — who know that a construction delay is a financial loss.
Both groups deserve the same thing: a contractor who builds like the outcome matters. Because to us, it does.
Three things.
Non-negotiable.
01. Honesty before the contract.
We tell you what a project actually costs, how long it actually takes, and what risks actually exist — before you sign anything. We’d rather lose the job than set an expectation we can’t meet.
02. Precision in every trade.
Framing, tile, finish carpentry, mechanical coordination — each phase is executed by people who specialize in exactly that. We don’t use generalists to do specialist work.
03. Earned trust, not borrowed credibility.
Most of our clients have hired us more than once. Several have sent us their neighbors, colleagues, and family members. That pattern is the only marketing that matters to us.

Asher Farhan
CEO
Asher leads client relationships, project strategy, and the overall standard of every Absolute project. His background spans over a decade of commercial and residential construction management across the DMV, with a particular focus on complex build-outs and large-scale residential renovations.
Clients call Asher when they want the scope explained, the timeline clarified, or an honest answer to a hard question. That access is intentional — and it stays consistent from first conversation to final walkthrough.
Ekam Singh
President
Ekam runs the operational side of every project: crew coordination, trade sequencing, material procurement, and quality control on the build. His attention to what clients never see — the framing behind the drywall, the waterproofing behind the tile — is what separates an Absolute project from a standard contractor job. He’s pushed back final walkthroughs when something wasn’t right. That’s not a delay. That’s the standard.

who mean it.
We take a limited number of new projects each quarter so every client gets the attention their project requires. If you’re ready to start the conversation, we are too.
